Logical Deduction...for kids!

Logically, it seems to me that teaching kids how to use their brains is quite important. Rather than just loading them down with facts, teaching them how to come up with the best possible solution to a number of real-life problems makes the best use of our time as teachers.

I happened across this little Flash game on the BBC's Bitesized site. It's an excellent resource for teachers, containing dozens of games for all kinds of concepts.

Believe it or not, I got one of them wrong twice before realizing that I hadn't actually read what was supposed to be done. Speedies and no readies is not always a good thing.
